We scan all originals in High Resolution (unless requested otherwise) and provide also a low resolution version for email, Facebook, etc. free.
Files are delivered on a DVD or electronically. Picture Renewal understands that many people don't know megabytes from mosquito bites, nor do they care. We and they care only that the scans are excellent and versatile for many uses, including blow-ups. |

All of our scans are made at the highest practical and optical resolution. (A 4X5" original typically yields a 30-50mb file, an 8X10" a 80- 100mb file).
Our default delivery format is JPEG but will deliver any format requested (Tiff, PSD, PDF, etc.).
Moderate dust, dirt, scratch removal and color correction performed on each scan unless requested otherwise.

All of our prints are of Exhibition Quality made with our Epson Inkjet printers. Our default paper surface has a nice lustre finish. We also offer glossy, fine art, metal, etc. surfaces upon request.
Because many older pictures we scan and restore don't conform to modern conventional proportions we offer the list on the right as a guide. |
